HealthTech Ireland fully respects your right to privacy and treats all personal information with the appropriate standards of security and confidentiality, strictly in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation.  The purpose of this policy is to inform you of the data relating to you that we collect and use in connection with this website and the uses including disclosures to third parties that we make of such data, in accordance with our obligations under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018.

 

Personal Data

HealthTech Ireland does not collect any personal data about you on this website, apart from information which you provide to us (for example by emailing us,  booking an event through our website and submitting feedback through our website). This personal data may include:

  • your name, address, contact details (including your phone number and email address;
  • your bank account details and / or credit card details;
  • any other personal data that you provide to us or that we generate about you in connection with your use of this website.

 

Purposes of processing and legal basis

We will use personal data relating to you for the purposes of:

  • responding to any queries that you have submitted to us via the website;
  • signing you up to our information bulletins when you request subscription through our website;
  • processing applications submitted through the website;

  • we may occasionally share membership data with partner organisations from time to time, e.g. when promoting/marketing our Annual Conference or our Annual Industry Awards but the information we would provide would be strictly limited and subject to a non-disclosure agreement where appropriate;

  • our legitimate business interests being provision of information and professional advice on the health care delivery landscape in Ireland and representing the industry to government, as well as marketing and promoting HealthTech Ireland’s services;

  • where we need to comply with our legal and/or regulatory obligations .
