Industry representation at government level is a critical role of HealthTech Ireland. Another milestone was reached this week. With the support of Cormac Devlin TD, our CEO Susan Treacy was honoured to present to Members of the Oireachtas in the Dáil AV room on – a HealthTech Ireland Briefing – Unlocking HealthTech’s Innovation and Insights for a Sustainable Healthcare System through Public-Private Collaboration. Our Board leads and working group leads who support this work
also brought possibility to life with notable examples of what success looks like and Molly Carroll, HealthTech Ireland and patient advocate spoke to her experiences and the possibility for patients in transformational delivery.
Highlights include:
🔓Government strategies and aspirations including ‘sector partnerships’ & creating ‘an environment where all sectors contribute to a healthier Ireland‘
🔓Shining a light on both the significant MedTech footprint and knowledge/ IP we have in Ireland
🔓Highlighting the track record and impact of trusted collaborative work that HealthTech Ireland, with members, deliver with public and private sector organizations across the sector
🔓Some of the necessary elements to unlock the potential for a sustainable healthcare system including leadership, scalable innovation and insights through collaboration
🔓The potential to build on the recent government Digital for Care framework and upcoming Health Service Executive Implementation Plan for enhanced and accelerated transformation to deliver impact for the system, service users and patients
